From hazardous takedowns to storm damage cleanup, pruning and land clearing Twin Pines Landscaping Incorporated has the equipment and the manpower to get the job done quickly and safely. Twin pines landscaping utilizes bucket trucks, cranes, log loaders and chippers depending on the scope of the work. All of our equipment is top of the line, so that we can maintain productivity and quality at a competitive price.

Firewood

We have several hundred cords of firewood and offer it throughout the year. All wood is seasoned for at least one year and no more than two. All of our firewood is made up of 100% hardwoods. 90% being Oak and Maple. We offer discounts on orders of five cords or more, and offfer stacking at an additional cost. Most of the year we are able to deliver within 48 hours of your order. We recommend that you order your wood before the end of October to guarantee that it is available fully seasoned.

Decorative pruning

Not only to ensure the health of the tree but also to keep the shape of the tree. Sometimes to let more sunlight on the house, planting bed, or garden. Pruning dead wood from trees is important so that the tree is not sending vital nutrients to try to heal a dead or damaged limb.

Safety pruning

Pruning dead limbs over driveways, around play areas and swing sets is a good idea especially before the winter. Removing limbs and trees leaning towards houses, garages, sheds, and play areas is a good idea any time of year, keeping insects and rodents away from roof lines or chimneys.

Stump Grinding

Twin Pines Tree Services also offers stump grinding or stump removal. Most of the time when trees are removed we grind the stump to 8" under the ground. If another tree is to be planted in its place the entire stump would need to be removed along with its root system. We also remove stumps when we cut down a grove of trees and are to install a lawn after. Grinding in this case is not as effective. A large piece of stump is left to decay in the years to come along with the root system. To have one or two stumps under a new lawn is ok but many stumps will be a big problem over time. Not all trees that are removed require grinding or removal. Although removal is more costly (trucking, dumping, removal fees, backhoe/excavator) in some cases it is a better option. One of our tree experts could evaluate and steer you in the right direction whether to grind, remove, or just leave the stump.

Sometimes it is necessary to utilize a crane to assist in tree removal. With large trees around houses or decorative landscapes with little room, a crane can take apiece of the tree and lower it to a safer working area.

"...Twin Pines Landscaping took our dismal back yard and turned it into a place the whole family enjoys. They designed a beautiful stone retaining wall and a bluestone patio surrounded by colorful plantings, bringing the life back to our property."
